Great spirits often encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds

I ask for God's wisdom to rain on me.

Karaoke - 3 Heavenly Queens

I tell you. Ah Pui, Nono and I went to Spize for some sinful yummy food tonight. As usual, we had the ayam goreng, nasi goreng pattaya, egg prata, chesse prata, ANOTHER ayam goreng and FRIES!

Erm...yes there is only 3 of us. Ok back to my main post.

So what do 3 very chio girls do after stuffing ourselves and gossiping???

KARAOKE! Next stop! Party world!

We had our very own personal Jay Chou concert. Lalalalala....

I think we listened to more than 15 of Jay's songs!!!
like 10 plus because hAnd Ah Pui had her own Wen Lan's concert because she just wanted to find this ONE song. I know how you feel ah pui. That one song yuou want to listen but don't know what's the title.

So you see we only wanted to sing for 1 hour. ONLY 1 HOUR. But bo pian minimum they charge you 3 hrs. We reached there like 8 plus and Nono had to go back by 11pm lah cos her clan is here.

And hor we sang and sang and sang and sang! Suddenly 3 hrs was up! My goodness we thought we will be done by 10pm? Why? Because we thought only 3 person sure run out of songs to sing.

AHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHH..................we win!!! The Low fambily came to visit us around 11.15pm and we happily show them our happy MV's of Ah Jay and Ah Gary!

lalalalalalalalalalal.....I LOVE KTV!

Feel like falling in love all over again

Been watching one too many Jay Chou's MV.

I want to have the feeling of falling in love again. Seriously!

You know the feeling of missing someone.
Losing sleep over someone when you fight.
Looking at your phone and praying for him to call.
Sleeping at night and thinking about him.
Wondering what he is doing at the moment.
When the phone is ringing and you know it's him.
The first kiss.
Getting jealous over the smallest issue.
Crying and threatening to break up.
Slamming down the phone halfway through an arguement.
Making out at the back of the bus.
Receiving small love hand written notes.
Dressing up to go out with him.
Having him use up his allowance to buy you something when he should spend it for food.
Thinking of him every waking minute.
Wondering why he has not called.
Loving him all over again when he apologizes.
Crying till your heart is going to stop in school.
Folding cranes, stars and hearts and putting them in a bottle.
Wearing matching t-shirts.
Having him sing to you over the phone.
Holding hands secretly during school camps.
He sending you home even though you stay at the other end of the island - by BUS.
Waiting for you to finish your ECA and walking you to the MRT.
Studying together after school at Mcdee's.
Saving your allowance to buy him that anniversary present.

The list goes on and on.

Being married is a totally different ball game that is sweet in other ways. Different from teenage/young adult love :)

Alvin and the Chipmunks

Wo Bu Pei

After I told THE MAN I cried while watching the Fei Yi Qing/ Jay Chou's Qian Li Zhi Wai, he recommended me to watch the below for more heart wrenching moments!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......help!

Wo bu pei

Lunch with ex-colleagues

Met up with ex-colleagues for lunch Suntec.

Lunch was good. Compliments of Malcolm :) Followed by coffe, again compliments of Malcolm. HAHAAH. Nicole and Celia forced mal to take their money for the coffee. I tried once but he refused so I didn't really push. HAHA they must think I am a cheapskate lor.

But I got treat Mal before mah...so to me it's ok one lah, who is keeping tabs right?

Not like those who have NEVER EVER fork out a single cent for ANYTHING right? You know I know WHO hor....

At the end of the day, the general consensus is that we are off to a better place.

Moving on.

The people who are left behind are seriously people whom we do not wish to ever cross paths again. Good riddance!

On to happier topics!

SUPER CUTE MV COMING UP!

Jay Chou's new song! COWBOY ON THE RUN - Niu Zai Heng Mang

And my other favourites!

Ting Mama De Hua

Ban Chao Gan Mu

And the one song which tugs at my heart

Tui Ho

Listening to this song makes me reminisence about all those past relationships I have. Relationships that after a while I realised that nobody was seriously at fault. It was wrong timing or just not suitable for each other.

I miss those days when I had heated and heart breaking fights with ex-boyfriends. Those fights which leaves you thinking if you have enough strength to go on with your live. Fights that make your heart squeeze with such pain that you gasp for air.
Fights that make you cry till your eyes are puffy.

My teenage year were filled with those scenes. It seems like yesterday I was there fighting with him, thinking how miserable I was and how to get through those times.

Those are times when I wish I can turn back time and go to those relationships where nothing else matters. Waiting by the phone to ring (No mobile phone then hor), sending lovely alpha numeric message to pagers, surprising him with hand folded stars and cranes. HAHA. Quite childish I know but it was so sweet then.

You know Boy meets Girl. Boy chases Girl. Boy and Girl fall in love. Promise to marry each other (erm that time 15-16 years old?). Pass each other in the canteen and pretend to be cool and not look at each other. Wrtte little love notes and stuff into notebooks. Carry the same bag and pencil case. Wear matching t-shirts and couple rings.

Very very sweet and innocent. Fights were over the most petty things. Things that will not matter at my present life stage.

Tui Ho reminds me of those sweet moments when Boy acts cool and breaks Girl's heart. Girl is miserable and goes off. Years later none of those things in the past matter anymore. Only sweet memories flow endlessly that puts a smile on the face out of the blue.

What I will give in exchange for my teenage years again! (contented smile)

Turning Cheena

Oh oh I forgot to add. I am now so into those MANDARIN songs that everybody sings at karaokes. My goodness, I mean I am HOOKED!

I used to seriously despise mandarin songs. I think I only liked 2, 3 maybe 4 mandarin songs? And I would never thought I would spend a single cent on a mandarin album.

This is what I bought!

There is this werid cowboy song which sounds like Old Macdonald had a farm yeeyayeeyaoh. Haha :)

I have Jay Chou's and Gary Cao's albums!! Woahohooooo!!! Yeah!

I have fallen for this song :) I weep when I watch the MV.

Qian Li Zhi Wai

And Superwoman from Gary Cao!

No joke I am in love with these men!

Got to d/l them into my MP3!!!

Another great dinner

Tonight we celebrated a very early birthday for the cow. Habbie birdday to you moooooooooooooo.......

The 6 of us, you know the usual suspects. Moomoo, me, Susu, Miss K, AVP Ho and Future BM Lanic.

Well, we went to where AVP Ho suggested!!!

AH YAT SEAFOOD!

It was another great evening with an incredible group of people.

These are people who will go on to touch other people's life like it touched mine. Simple laughter and friendship that help one another on his/her journey. People whom should be treasured and respected. Happy shiny people :)

When will we be doing this again? When someone leaves?

Let's hope not.

On garden leave.

Garden leave (or gardening leave) describes the practice of instructing an employee who is leaving an employer (following a resignation, or having been made redundant or otherwise terminated) to stay away from work during their notice period. The practice is often used to prevent employees working for the employer's competitors for a period of time.

Time now 3.38am.
Monday. Watching CSI- New York on DVD.

BEST!

Woooohooooo.......
